For the first time in well.....ever! I have worked out two weeks in a row six days each week. I may be a coach but that does not mean I have super powers. Unless super powers are defined by a huge appetite and sweet tooth.
To commemorate this amazing feat- we went out Saturday night for drinks and had some non-running fun.
Then I slept in Sunday (seriously that never happens anymore) and took the day off from working out- meeting friends in the evening (post-nap of course) for drinks and some football watching.
I always say it's important to rest as hard as you train, and usually that's my excuse for sitting on the couch and "laying like broccoli" to quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I do it really well - maybe that's my super power.....
Here's to resting! I'm back on the grind today (hoping to make it an unprecedented three weeks in a row of workouts) and back at Off Road tonight.
